Friends for Life KCH100
Since 1981, community members have contributed more than $2.2 million to Friends for Life KCH100 annual giving fund. These donations have allowed medical and technological advancements at Kish Hospital. We have purchased a fetal monitor, Cardiac Rehab equipment, and lab equipment to name a few. This year, a new Bone Densitometer was purchased. This machine measures bone density and assists in the diagnosis of osteoporosis and other bone issues. Thanks to our generous donors, this service will be offered at Kish Hospital for the first time.
We were also able to help furnish Kish Hospital with infection control stations, offering hand sanitizer, masks and tissues for visitors to help stop the spread of germs. Future funds will continue to purchase healthcare equipment and technology as well as support our unrestricted endowment fund.
Kishwaukee Community Hospital's Tree of Life and Forest of Life represent gifts to the Friends for Life KCH100 annual fund. Each leaf represents a gift of $1,000, while each stone represents a gift of $10,000.
